Our culture is a big part of who we are—and it hasn’t developed by accident. It’s molded every day by people like Janna Doyscher, our Director of Human Resources, who plays a vital role in what it means to be part of the Bron Family. 

With more than 25 years of experience in HR, Janna brings both expertise and enthusiasm to a role that’s constantly reviewing and improving the employee experience. Her recurring work spans payroll management, the negotiation and renewal of benefits, and the development of our employee culture guide - the Bron Way. 

Janna enjoys the fast-paced world of HR and constant problem solving, and is always ready to take new challenges head on. 

“In HR, anything can happen,” Janna shared. “You could be focused on one task, then an employee message turns into five unexpected tasks. That’s what I love about it.” 

Before joining Bron Tapes in 2017, Janna found employment across a wide range of nonprofit organizations. “I went from working with ‘red tape’ to working with real tape!” she joked. Since then, Janna has helped expand our HR operations, better our workplace, and bring engaging employee events to life. 

Outside the office, Janna channels her creativity into designing handmade greeting cards. Each year, she creates birthday cards for all 220 Bron employees nationwide.  

Every year, that talent leads her to Stampjoy, an annual greeting card makers’ summit in Iowa. There, Janna connects with fellow makers, learns new techniques, and gathers fresh inspiration she brings back to her craft. 

Her advice for new hires? “You know less about tape than you think you do, and that’s okay. Always be willing to ask for help.” Janna believes teamwork makes all the difference, sharing that our crew is always there to lend a hand.
