What tape should I use for cold weather performance?

Are freezer or cold weather conditions part of your product consideration? Here are some recommendations for items that can perform in cold weather applications!


Packaging

Cold temperatures can impact the performance of your packaging tape during the winter. A carton seal tape with an acrylic adhesive can help firmly secure your packages – like BT-420A or BT-435.


Masking

Outdoor masking in cold weather can be tricky… but not when you have Bron Tapes products on your side! Our premium BT-4736 Clean Green®, BT-7061 Killer Bee®, and BT-4016 Premium Polyethylene Tape are ideal products for your winter outdoor application. BT-50A and BT-67SW are additional options where foil insulation is needed.

Mounting/Bonding

The “World’s Greatest Double Sided Tape” – BT-3854 Killer Red® – is an ideal product for mounting and bonding in the cold winter months. An aggressive adhesive and permanent bond are just a few of the features you’ll love about this tape.


BT-246 is ideal for thin bonding requirements, whereas BT-1960 can be utilized for mounting where foam is needed for thickness. Other mounting and joint sealing options include BT-9771 and BT-120RC.
